Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee, teas, and bakery beverages with care and consistency
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing pastries, cakes, and drinks, offering friendly recommendations
- Accurately operate the cash register and process all payments swiftly and securely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting coffee and bakery area, following food safety standards
- Restock supplies and bakery items to ensure smooth daily operations
- Manage busy periods efficiently, balancing speed with excellent customer service
- Support team members with light bakery tasks and workflow as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista, cashier, or in food service within a bakery or café is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, beverage presentation, and food safety guidelines
- Proficient in handling cash and electronic transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude and ability to engage with guests warmly
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality
- Basic food preparation and bakery knowledge to assist with light kitchen duties
- Strong teamwork spirit combined with a proactive approach to help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting space
