Beeston Manor is an award-winning events venue and a family run business set in 140 acres of grounds and aims to provide high quality functions, fine food and wines to weddings and all occasions including weddings, events, parties, funerals, christenings and restaurant evenings.
Job Description
We are looking for friendly, professional and reliable Bar & Waiting On Staff to join our team for weddings, events and restaurant evenings.
This is a varied and customer-facing role where excellent service, efficiency and a positive attitude are essential in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience.
You will work across both front of house service and bar service depending on the event requirements.
Job Requirements
- Waiting on during 3-course wedding breakfasts
- Serving food and clearing tables efficiently
- Serving drinks during weddings and events
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Collecting glasses and maintaining cleanliness of the bar area
- Polishing cutlery and glassware
- Folding napkins and preparing tables
- Setting up wedding breakfasts and reception drinks areas
- Assisting with event turnaround and reset
- Handling cash and card payments where required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Experience in the wedding venue industry or hospitality is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Must be over the age of 18 due to serving alcohol.
Must be able to work Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. This will include a mixture of mornings, afternoons and evenings depending on bookings. Should you only be able to work some of these days, we will still consider your application.
You must have transport to and from work as public transport links are limited.
You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to multi-task, remain focused and calm under pressure, and have excellent verbal communication skills is essential.

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
