Join our dynamic team as an On-Site Recruitment Coordinator, supporting recruitment across a fast-paced food production environment. This exciting role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in high-volume manufacturing settings and is passionate about connecting skilled candidates with rewarding opportunities in food production. As the key link between candidates, production teams, and hiring managers, you will coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring production operations remain fully staffed to meet business demands. Your ability to build strong relationships, manage recruitment campaigns, utilise applicant tracking systems (ATS), and support employer branding through social media will play a vital role in attracting and retaining the talent needed to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality food production.
Duties
- Led recruitment campaigns to source skilled production operatives, warehouse staff, quality assurance personnel, and engineering talent for fast-paced food manufacturing environments.
- Coordinated on-site interviews, recruitment drives, and hiring events to support high-volume staffing requirements and ensure production teams remained fully resourced.
- Built strong relationships with production managers, shift supervisors, and operational leaders to understand workforce demands and deliver recruitment solutions aligned with production schedules.
- Maintained clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience from application through to onboarding.
- Utilised Salesforce and other recruitment CRM systems to manage candidate pipelines, track recruitment activity, and maintain talent pools for seasonal and ongoing production requirements.
- Supported employer branding and recruitment marketing through social media and local outreach initiatives, promoting career opportunities within the food production sector.
- Assisted with onboarding and compliance processes, ensuring new starters met food safety, hygiene, and company standards before commencing work.
- Worked closely with operations teams to respond quickly to fluctuating staffing demands, helping maintain production targets and minimise downtime.
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences both on-site and virtually.
- Strong relationship management skills to collaborate seamlessly with hiring teams, candidates, and external partners.
- Knowledge of HRIS platforms and applicant tracking tools to manage candidate data efficiently.
- Experience with social media management for recruiting purposes is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience working with salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
