Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Temporary Finance Assistant to join our team. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to support our finance department with essential accounting tasks, data entry, and financial record management. The ideal candidate will bring experience with various accounting software and a proactive approach to handling accounts payable processes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with processing accounts payable transactions using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
- Enter financial data accurately into systems like Workday or PeopleSoft to ensure up-to-date records
- Support the finance team in reconciling invoices and expense reports
- Maintain organized records of financial documents, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve data entry procedures
- Help prepare reports related to accounts payable and other financial activities
- Contribute to maintaining smooth financial operations during the temporary assignment period
Experience
- Previous experience working with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable
- Familiarity with data entry tasks within financial services environments
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and invoice management
- Experience using systems like Workday or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in financial records
