We have an exciting new opening for a Lettings Administrator in our central Leeds office. This role would ideally suit candidates with previous experience as an administrator within residential lettings, however someone who is organised, personable, well presented and has good attention to detail may fit in well too. Full training would be provided.
Key responsibilities:
- Liaising with tenants to process their application to rent a property.
- Using referencing software to check tenant suitability, including: affordability, previous landlord and employment references.
- Prepare documentation for new tenancies prior to tenants moving into the property.
- Meeting with tenants at the office on the day they move into the property to get documentation signed, Right to Rent checks completed, hand over keys and take payments for rent and deposit.
- To act as front of house in the office to meet and greet any visitors including landlords, tenants and contractors.
- To provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- To answer incoming calls in a professional manner as part of a phone rota system.
- To carry out any necessary administration tasks.
- To support all colleagues in other functions where requested.
Key skills required:
- Previous experience within residential lettings would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and procedures accurately and within required timescales.
- Confident using IT and software systems.
- Highly organised, proactive, reliable and able to manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritise and manage several tasks at once.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (based on experience), plus bonuses.
Hours: 37.5 per week. 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
