WHO WE ARE
Bright Future Residences is launching a brand‑new service in Bristol BS3, supporting young people aged 16+ as they move toward independence.
We don’t call our staff “Support Workers”. We call them Mentors — because this role is about guiding, supporting, empowering, and believing in young people during some of the most important years of their lives.

THE ROLE
As a Mentor, you will:
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
- Support them to develop independence (budgeting, cooking, travel, routines)
- Encourage education, employment & daily structure
- Promote emotional wellbeing through trauma‑informed practice
- Role‑model healthy boundaries, communication and problem‑solving
- Support safe online behaviour and awareness (CSE/Digital Safety)
- Work as part of a committed team that truly values your input
- Help young people feel safe, understood, and capable

PAY & HOURS
- £13.50 – £14.50 per hour (clear progression from inexperienced → experienced)
- £65 per sleep‑in
- Predictable rota patterns

No specific qualifications required — attitude, values and consistency matter most.

- Right to work in the UK
- Willing to complete enhanced DBS (paid by us)
- Able to work within a rota including sleeps

Please note: These roles are initially offered on a bank/zero-hours basis due to the start-up phase of the service. However, as the provision develops and young people move in, there will be opportunities to transition into guaranteed hours contracts, including both part-time and full-time positions.
