Female Support Worker Required For A Neurodivergent Individual
Working Hours: 8am -6 pm Wednesday, 8am -6pm Thursday
Additional ad hoc hours will be available
I am a 20-year-old female with a diagnosis of Autism and Learning Disabilities. I require support to help me live a happy, safe, and fulfilling life while maintaining my independence in my own home.
I have a fantastic support team and am looking for another female Support Worker to join us. I'm looking for someone who is fun, energetic, patient, and understanding, and who enjoys building genuine relationships. It's important to me that you take the time to understand me as an individual, support me in the way that works best for me, and be flexible to meet my changing needs.
I have a bubbly, outgoing personality and love making people laugh. I enjoy getting out and about, trying new things, and making the most of every day. Some of my favourite activities include:
- Performing arts
- Shopping trips
- Going to the cinema
- Fun days out and activities
- Exploring new places and planning exciting trips
I'm looking for someone who enjoys these kinds of activities too, as I would love to share common interests and create lots of enjoyable experiences together.
I require a support worker who is over the age of 25 and relatively close to me in age. This is because I would like my support worker to be able to drive my Motability vehicle, which requires the driver to meet the insurance criteria.
The things that matter most to me are my family, my cat, and spending time out in the community being sociable. I enjoy meeting people, having fun, and making memories, so I'm looking for someone who shares my enthusiasm for getting out and living life to the fullest.

What will you be doing?
The main aim is to enable me to live a happy & fulfilled life this will be done through:
- Supporting me to enjoy an active and social lifestyle, including shopping, performing arts, cinema trips, fun days out, and exploring new places.
- Helping me build my confidence and independence while encouraging me to achieve personal goals, try new experiences, and access my community using my Motability vehicle.
- Providing reassurance, companionship, and person-centred support to help me feel safe, happy, and able to enjoy the things that matter most to me.

We develop, support and retain a highly skilled workforce who will always maintain the highest standards of care. Recruitment is individualised and always person centred. Service users have a dedicated small team of support staff with no cross over of support. Support staff will work closely with each other to create a safe & supportive environment for the individual, this will involve listening, learning and always working together.
Support staff are trained to meet all requirements above and beyond current care standards. Training is identified & tailored to individual needs and complexity. Understanding everyone’s needs will be unique to them. Training will always be relevant to diagnosis, need, risk, safety, behaviour and medical requirements. The best interest of everyone involved will always be the focus of training and development. Our aim is to invest and develop our staff, so you stay with us for the long haul!
