Support operational innovation initiatives that improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainable manufacturing performance.
Duties
- Oversee daily industrial operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimise supply chain processes and logistics workflows.
- Manage teams effectively, providing leadership, guidance, and support to achieve organisational objectives.
- Coordinate with various departments to streamline operations and improve overall productivity.
- Analyse operational data using Microsoft Excel and other IT tools to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain excellent communication with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless information flow.
- utilise Microsoft Office suite programmes including Word, Outlook, and Excel for reporting, planning, and correspondence.
- Drive projects aimed at process automation and technological advancement within the organisation.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend best practices to enhance operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all operational activities.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in industrial operations or related fields.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes including Word, Excel, Outlook, and IT systems relevant to supply chain management.
- Sound knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and customer service principles.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for overseeing logistical activities involving transportation.
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data critically and implement strategic solutions.
- Organised approach with excellent time management skills suited for dynamic operational environments.
