ROLE: Waste Account Manager
HOURS: 40 hours a week
LOCATION: Nottingham
At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Healthcare Waste Account Manager who will successfully manage and develop clients across the Healthcare sector.
Role Responsibilities:
Management of waste contracts for various clients, in line with contract specification.
Maintain and develop client relationships with a view to maintaining and growing waste services.
Identifying innovative opportunities for services beyond traditional waste collection.
Maintain, monitor and develop the relationship with all relevant subcontractors.
Submit and implement strategic waste management plans in line with our clients' environmental and accreditation objectives.
Ensure client compliance with current and future environmental and Health & Safety regulations and legislation.
Required Qualifications:
Experience and understanding of the Healthcare waste sector.
Proven track record of project management and implementation.
Excellent communication, written, time management and organisational skills.
Knowledge or experience in Contract Management, Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste management.
