Due to our continued growth and an ever-increasing workload, following the successful delivery of projects and expansion of our reactive maintenance division, LJM Electrical Ltd is looking to recruit experienced and motivated Qualified Electricians to support the continued growth and success of our business.
We are a well-established commercial electrical contractor delivering high-quality electrical installations and maintenance services across London and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on our workmanship, reliability and the long-term relationships we have built with our clients.
The Role
Our work is varied but is primarily within the commercial sector, delivering electrical installations for a wide range of interior fit-out contractors. The majority of our projects are office fit-outs, so previous experience in this environment would be highly advantageous.
In addition to office projects, we also undertake work within the retail and industrial sectors, with our client base continuing to grow year on year.
Applicants from a domestic background will also be considered, provided they demonstrate the enthusiasm, adaptability and willingness to develop their skills within a fast-paced commercial environment.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will:
- Be capable of testing and inspecting their own work.
- Complete Electrical Installation Certificates, Minor Works Certificates and associated documentation accurately.
- Complete digital risk assessments and customer sign-off documentation.
- Be professional, customer-focused and presentable at all times.
- Take pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
- Have excellent fault-finding, problem-solving and installation skills.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Be committed to delivering the high level of service our clients have come to expect.
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS Gold Card
Desirable Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 7 - 4
- Overtime available
- Some out-of-hours and weekend working required

Our office is based in Leighton Buzzard, although the majority of our work is carried out in Central London.
