Duties

- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
- Manage cash register operations, handle payments efficiently, and issue receipts.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials or events.
- Follow food safety standards and organisational policies at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or serving roles within a restaurant or bar environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations relevant to beverage service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
