Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent guest service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of drinks
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
Assist with food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service
Manage cash register operations, including handling payments and giving change
Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety standards are upheld
Restock bar supplies and ingredients as necessary throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for all guests
Requirements
17 or over Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication and guest service skills with a friendly demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Ability to work under pressure during busy periods while maintaining professionalism
Good time management skills to ensure smooth operations during shifts
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
