Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established and highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants in Preston who are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior / Senior to join their growing team.
The Role
You will support a varied portfolio of clients, with responsibilities including:
- Preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Preparing personal and corporate tax computations
- Completing bookkeeping assignments
- Preparing periodic VAT returns
- Processing payroll where required
- Liaising directly with clients and resolving queries
- Maintaining accurate working papers and ensuring deadlines are met
- Supporting senior team members with client work
- Building strong, long-term client relationships
About You
- AAT Qualified / Part Qualified or studying towards ACA / ACCA or Qualified by Experience
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential
- Experience across accounts preparation and tax compliance
- Good communication and client relationship skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Able to manage deadlines and work effectively as part of a team
- Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing practice
