We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front office. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services offered.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries as needed.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist in managing correspondence via phone, email, and postal mail.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Proficiency in using office software and equipment (e.g., computers, printers).
- A friendly disposition with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
