Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week 08:00 - 17:00 (1 hour lunch). Overtime available.

The Role
The Warehouse Operative plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of pharmaceutical products to branch locations. Working within a regulated warehouse environment, the post holder will follow company procedures, Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines, and health and safety requirements to maintain the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and customer service.
The role is essential in supporting the efficient supply of medicines and healthcare products to pharmacies, helping to ensure patients receive the products they need in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, check, and accurately record incoming goods.
- Ensure products are stored correctly and in accordance with company policies and pharmaceutical distribution standards.
- Input and maintain accurate data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Replenish picking locations to ensure stock availability.
- Pick stock accurately against orders and required specifications.
- Assemble and prepare medicine consignments for dispatch.
- Package goods appropriately to ensure safe and secure transportation.
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock management activities.
- Conduct routine warehouse housekeeping to maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to support operational efficiency.
- Meet productivity targets and work effectively to deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
