Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Scaffolder to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient access for workers and materials at heights, supporting a wide range of projects including commercial, residential, and industrial developments. Duties
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures safely according to project specifications and safety standards
- Inspect scaffolding regularly for stability, integrity, and compliance with safety regulations
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to assemble scaffolding components efficiently
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate access points and ensure smooth workflow at height
- Follow detailed plans and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly of scaffolding systems
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing materials and disposing of debris properly
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in scaffolding installation and dismantling on construction sites
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, roofing, masonry, welding, plumbing, electrical work, and fabrication techniques is highly desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Familiarity with construction painting and general building practices is a plus
- Excellent physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials safely
- Valid certifications related to scaffolding safety standards (such as OSHA or equivalent) are preferred
- Basic understanding of other trades such as electrical or plumbing can enhance your effectiveness on site
