We are a small, 17-bed, not-for-profit care home on the edge of Perth. Resident wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do, and we actively involve residents, families, and staff in decision-making. Strong community links help our residents remain active, engaged, and connected beyond the home.
To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their dignity, independence, comfort, and wellbeing while ensuring a safe and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents with eating and drinking, ensuring nutritional and hydration needs are met.
- Assist residents with daily activities and encourage independence wherever possible.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues.
- Monitor residents' physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate care records and complete documentation as required.
- Follow individual care plans and contribute to their review and development.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
- Support residents in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Adhere to safeguarding procedures and report any concerns regarding abuse or neglect.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, infection prevention and control procedures, and moving and handling guidelines.
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and communicate professionally with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Attend mandatory training and participate in continuous professional development.

The home is located on an excellent bus route, with weekend transport support available outside bus hours.
