Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a welcoming Primary school?
We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant in Chatham to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil, helping them build confidence, engage with learning and make meaningful progress.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys making a genuine difference to a child’s school experience while becoming part of a friendly and supportive team.
The Role
You will:
- Provide 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil
- Support a child currently working around Reception level
- Help with learning during core lessons
- Deliver focused intervention activities
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive engagement
- Help create a safe, nurturing and enjoyable learning environment
Who We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have previous experience working with children or within a Primary school
- Have experience supporting additional or emerging needs
- Are patient, caring and adaptable
- Communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team
- Are passionate about helping children develop academically and socially
