Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic 11+ Tutor to deliver engaging in-person lessons in Milton Keynes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum and experience preparing students for 11+ entrance examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective in-person 11+ tutoring sessions.
- Plan lessons aligned with 11+ entrance exam requirements.
- Prepare students in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
- Provide homework, study materials, and regular progress updates.
- Maintain a professional, organised, and punctual approach to teaching.
- Adapt lessons to suit each student's learning needs and abilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' tutoring experience (required).
- Minimum 5 years' teaching experience (required).
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and 11+ entrance exams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Experience working with children is desirable.
Qualifications
- Graduate, A-Level, or equivalent (preferred).
