We are recruiting for a Pub Manager to take full responsibility for the smooth and successful running of one of our community pubs. You will report directly to the Area Manager and Directors, and play a key role in shaping the venue.
This is a live‑in position under a 19.5% agreement, and requires a sensible, committed approach to your working pattern — including busy weekend nights, bank holidays, the Christmas period, and special events.

Key Responsibilities
- Full operational responsibility for the venue
- Building or bringing a strong team to drive a community‑focused business
- Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Managing stock, rotas, and weekly planning
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety, and environmental standards
- Liaising with local responsible authorities
- Maintaining high standards across all areas of the business
Desired Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Experience as a percentage‑based Manager
- Strong stock management skills
- Rota management & shift planning
- Good IT skills (training provided on our systems)
- Conflict management abilities
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Health & Safety knowledge, including risk assessments
- Fire safety, manual handling, COSHH
- Ability to learn a small cocktail menu (10–12 cocktails)
- Understanding of licensing law
- Understanding of Environmental Health requirements

- £2,000 bond
- Public & Employers Liability Insurance
- TV licence & council tax (self‑funded)
- Suggested float of around £500
