Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity to join our E-Commerce team as an Online Merchandiser, where you will contribute to the growth of our online offering by showcasing our products in the most optimised way to drive sales and customer interest.
We are looking for someone with creative flair who can write engaging, concise and informative product descriptions, working with high attention to detail to cross check prices, product codes and stock levels. You will also collaborate with our Studio Design team on product photography and retouch images for use online.

Job Overview
- Write and upload creative product descriptions that are SEO friendly

Photograph products and utilise Photoshop to prepare images for use online

Accurately input price information onto the website, e.g. sell prices and RRP’s
-
Ensure product images and product description copy is optimized, engaging and communicates all the necessary information to customers to drive sales and interest

Use the AS400 system to check stock levels, produce stock reports and check product codes
-
Ensure the correct categorisation of products and cross-selling with other products
-
Work with other commercial teams to execute promotions, mark downs or seasonal product campaigns on the website

Analyse customer experience on the website and daily performance to ensure continuous improvement
Minimum Criteria To Apply
- Knowledge and experience within a retail role and an understanding of retail product ranges

Experienced in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Experience with photography/Photoshop advantageous

Experience with MAC/PC advantageous

Creative flair – the ability to write engaging, concise and informative product descriptions, with an eye for product imagery
-
Attention to detail – the ability to cross check different systems and information sources to upload the correct details to the website

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Self-motivated but able to work within a team
