Electrical Engineer – Bristol
£41,000 + Company Vehicle (Personal Use) + Overtime
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established engineering team delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a large Bristol City Council property portfolio.
This is a permanent position offering a strong basic salary, company vehicle, excellent overtime rates and a comprehensive benefits package.
The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across council buildings
- Respond to reactive electrical faults and breakdowns
- Fault finding and repairs on electrical systems
- Maintain lighting, emergency lighting and power distribution
- Complete electrical testing, inspection and minor installation works
- Carry out remedial and small works where required
- Ensure work meets current electrical and Health & Safety regulations
- Complete job sheets and update CAFM systems
- Liaise professionally with clients and other engineers
- Work across a varied portfolio of properties throughout Bristol
Salary & Package
- £41,000 basic salary
- Company vehicle provided (personal use)

- 1.5x overtime Monday–Saturday
