We're looking for a Renewals Manager to join our team and take ownership of the tenancy renewal process across our diverse portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration, customer service and negotiation skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where organisation and attention to detail make a real difference.
The Role
As Renewals Manager, you'll oversee the end-to-end renewal process for contracted-out tenancies, ensuring renewals are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with legal requirements. You'll work closely with tenants and colleagues across the business to deliver a seamless customer experience while supporting wider commercial objectives.
This is a varied role where you'll balance customer relationships, administration, compliance and commercial awareness to ensure renewals are completed on time and to a high standard.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing the full lifecycle of tenancy renewals across a large and varied property portfolio.
- Working directly with tenants to negotiate and progress lease renewals while delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with statutory and governance requirements.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and keep renewals progressing smoothly.
- Monitoring renewal activity against key performance indicators, identifying potential risks and taking proactive action to keep cases on track.
- Supporting debt recovery activity where required to enable successful completion of renewals.
- Contributing to budgeting and forecasting for renewal activity.
- Continuously developing your knowledge of property legislation and best practice.
What We're Looking For
You'll be highly organised, customer-focused and confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. You're someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and ensuring every detail is handled accurately.
We're particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Experience managing high-volume administrative or case management processes.
- A background in tenancy renewals, property administration or customer service.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good commercial awareness and confidence working with data and systems.
- Strong IT and numerical skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships across teams.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Knowledge of commercial property, lease structures or property law.
- MRICS qualification (or working towards it).
- A full UK driving licence.
