We are seeking a reliable and professional Yodel Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering parcels efficiently and safely to customers across designated routes. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans or lorries, along assigned routes to deliver parcels to residential and commercial addresses
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and minimise delays
- Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience with commercial driving and operating various types of delivery vehicles
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Good organisational skills for route planning and time management
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous but not essential
