Front of House Manager
The Chequered Skipper, Ashton is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic full-time Front of House Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As a proactive and commercially minded leader with a positive attitude, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of our front-of-house operations. You will foster a culture of excellence, driving service standards and mentoring a friendly, dedicated team.

Your Role

We are seeking a leader who holds themselves and their team to the highest standards, with keen attention to detail across every aspect of the business—from the dining room floor to the bar.
Key responsibilities include:
Operational Excellence: Ensuring the smooth, daily running of the business to deliver memorable guest experiences.
Team Leadership: Mentoring, training, and inspiring staff, fostering an environment where team members can thrive and develop.
Commercial Growth: Driving revenue, managing costs, and ensuring that brand standards are not only met but consistently exceeded.
Standard Setting: Maintaining a deep, up-to-date knowledge of the current food and drink landscape to ensure our offering remains fresh and competitive.
Core Skills and Experience
Hospitality Professional: A deep, authentic passion for the industry with a focus on high-quality food and beverage service.
Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a Front of House Manager, Restaurant Manager, or a high-performing Assistant Manager ready for a new challenge.
Team Development: Strong ability to nurture, motivate, and empower team members through proactive training and consistent support.
Operational Knowledge: A solid understanding of food hygiene, health and safety protocols, and general business administration.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and flexible approach to teamwork.
Resilience: The ability to function independently, lead under pressure, and meet performance targets effectively.
Self-Driven: An authentic, inspiring leader who is comfortable taking ownership of the business and making key operational decisions.
