Job Title: IPC Cost Engineer (Project Controls)
Job Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset
Salary: Competitive, Depending on Experience
Contract | On-site | 37.5 hrs/week | Long-term (until 31 Dec 2026)
We’re recruiting an IPC Cost Engineer to support cost control and forecasting on one of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes – Hinkley Point C. You’ll join the Integrated Project Controls team and help deliver accurate reporting, insight, and data quality to support key project decisions.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintain and update cost & forecast data (aligned to CBS/WBS)
- Produce regular cost/forecast reports with clear commentary on drivers and performance
- Support trend, change, and performance analysis (risks/opportunities)
- Work closely with Cost Engineering leads and wider project teams to ensure consistent, high-quality data
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a project controls / cost / forecasting environment
- Strong Excel/data skills and a high attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder skills
- HND (or equivalent) in Project Controls/Project Management/Engineering (or similar)
Tools (ideal)
EcoSys, SAP, Power BI, MS Office (or similar equivalents)
