We are actively seeking a Site-based Commercial Administrator to join our team in Bristol!
| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
Commercial & Reporting Support
- Ensure all commercially relevant correspondence and records are maintained in accordance with project procedures.
- Monitor ageing of variations and produce weekly reports.
- Compile financial progress reports
- Prepare cashflow reports and analysis for review
- Assist with monthly Project Valuations and the preparation of Project Projections for the Head of Commercial
- Assist with CVR preparation.
- Input, manage and extract information from ERP systems to support financial and commercial reporting
- Assist Quantity Surveyors with workload when required
Administrative & Coordination Duties
- Minute and draft commercial meeting notes and circulate to relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate information and documentation between internal teams and external partners
- Maintain well-organised departmental records, trackers and filing systems, including trackers for instructed works, pending changes and approved variations.
- Support diary management and communication flows within the Commercial team when required
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date and issued in a timely manner
- Liaise with site management, design teams and subcontractors to obtain information required for commercial assessments.
| QUALIFICATIONS |
Essential
- GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration or equivalent
| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |
Essential
- 1-2 years’ experience working within a construction company.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office software including Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Willingness to learn and use new proprietary software packages
- Experience supporting senior management with documentation or report preparation
- Experience coordinating information or communications between departments
- Experience organising meetings, preparing agendas, or taking minutes
Desirable
- Experience using E Vison and E Valuate
- Experience using SharePoint, 4Projects or similar document management system.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central)
- Experience working within a Commercial / Quantity Surveying Dept.
