Summer Full-Time Kitchen Assistant
Overview
Bariuma Ramen is looking for a Full-Time Kitchen Assistant to join our team for the summer season. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for Japanese food and culture, and are eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation under the guidance of the kitchen team
Support chefs with daily kitchen operations
Prepare ingredients and basic dishes as required
Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all times
Assist with stock rotation and general kitchen duties
Work efficiently as part of a team during busy service periods
Requirements
Available to work full-time throughout the summer
Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential
Basic knowledge of food preparation is preferred
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and evening shifts
Positive attitude, reliable, and willing to learn
Passion for Japanese cuisine and culture is welcome
