Multi-Trade Reactive Maintenance Operative — London (Social Housing)

About the role
We deliver reactive repairs across London for housing associations and local authorities. You’ll be attending multiple properties a day, diagnosing problems on the spot, and fixing them right first time.
This is not a single-trade role. We need genuine multi-traders who can walk into any repair and resolve it.
Core trades required
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Flooring
- Decorating
- Minor brickwork
- Damp and mould experience is highly desirable
What you’ll be doing
- Attending several reactive jobs per day across London
- Diagnosing and completing repairs first-time wherever possible
- Working directly in tenants’ homes, communicating clearly and de-escalating difficult situations professionally
- Completing our quality assurance process on every job: before/during/after photographs and full written reports, submitted to standard, every time
- Working at pace without compromising finish quality
Who we’re looking for
- Proven experience in reactive maintenance within social housing
- A real problem solver, someone who works out the fix rather than reporting it back
- Reliable attendance and timekeeping, without exception
- Comfortable following strict company process and QA requirements
- Someone who takes pride in the standard of their finish
- Full UK driving licence
- Clean DBS
