We are working with an OFSTED-rated Good school in Wolverhampton who are seeking a qualified and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Childcare or Early Years practitioner to join their supportive team from May 2026. This welcoming primary school has a strong community ethos, excellent staff support, and a clear focus on pupil progress and wellbeing.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Working 1:1 and with small groups to raise attainment.
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Contributing to pupils’ personal, social, and academic development.
What we’re looking for:
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
- Previous experience supporting children in a school setting.
- Strong communication skills with both staff and pupils.
- A proactive, caring, and flexible approach to support learning.
- Commitment to the school’s values and pupil success.
