Job Purpose
We are looking for a reliable, friendly and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering customer orders safely, accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role offers a great work-life balance with weekends off.
Key Responsibilities
● Deliver customer orders promptly and professionally.
● Ensure all orders are checked before leaving the store.
● Provide excellent customer service at every delivery.
● Handle cash and card transactions accurately where required.
● Maintain a clean, roadworthy and legal vehicle.
● Follow all road traffic laws and company procedures.
● Report any vehicle or delivery issues promptly.
● Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
● Assist with light in-store duties when not completing deliveries.
Essential Requirements
● Full, valid UK driving licence.
● Safe and responsible driving record.
● Good communication and customer service skills.
● Punctual, dependable and trustworthy.
● Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
● Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
● Previous delivery or customer service experience.
● Knowledge of the local area.
● Experience handling cash payments.
