Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Inhouse Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial management activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to support management decision-making.
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Utilise accounting software such as Xero to maintain financial data integrity.
- Oversee financial management activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on financial procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial accounting or management accounting within a similar organisation.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Strong understanding of financial services industry practices is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated mentoring skills with a proactive approach to team development.
- Experience handling accounts payable processes and financial management tasks.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
