Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House team member to work weekends and provide exceptional guest services in a dynamic hospitality environment. This role involves engaging with customers, ensuring smooth service operations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and experience in hospitality or food service. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer opportunities for growth within the organisation.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or reservations
- Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and waiting areas
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system and provide receipts to guests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary options to assist guests effectively
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles such as barista, culinary assistant, or hotel front desk
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear verbal interaction and courteous phone manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining professionalism
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and guest needs throughout shifts
- A friendly demeanour with a genuine passion for guest service and hospitality excellence
