Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at nursing home. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality cleaning services.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in a nursing home.
- Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet rolls, and cleaning products as needed
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself courteously when interacting with clients or visitors
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for ensuring thorough cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliability and punctuality are highly valued qualities for this role
