Part-Time Social Media Executive
Location: Redditch
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, 2 days per week
Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent
We are a Builders Merchant with branches in Redditch Coventry and Solihull, looking for a creative and enthusiastic Part-Time Social Media Executive to join our team.
This role could suit someone looking to gain hands-on marketing experience.
You will work from our Redditch office and take responsibility for our social media platforms, helping to grow our online presence and create engaging content.
Key Responsibilities
- Create content for Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms
- Take photos and short videos of products, deliveries and branch activity
- Plan and schedule content using Later
- Keep up with current social media trends
- Help create campaigns for products, promotions and seasonal events
- Monitor social media performance and competitor activity
- Create newsletters using Mailchimp
- Work alongside our e-commerce team
- Make basic WordPress updates, including adding products, changing prices and updating descriptions
What We're Looking For
- Creative, enthusiastic and full of ideas
- Confident using social media
- Good written and spoken English
- Basic photography skills
- An interest in creating short-form video content
- Experience with Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar would be useful
- WordPress, Later and Mailchimp experience would be advantageous
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently
Previous experience is welcome, but enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to learn are just as important.
