Job Summary
We are seeking part time, motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their needs, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Your role will also involve merchandising and maintaining the store's appearance.
(This is a fixed term role finishing December 31st.)
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising strategies.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store standards.
Requirements
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills to maintain store layout and inventory accuracy.
