Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials before appointments
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilise equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Support patients through compassionate care, addressing concerns and providing reassurance
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Organise appointments efficiently, managing the practice’s schedule to optimise patient flow
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
- recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse (e.g., NEBDN or equivalent)
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting is desirable but not essential for newly qualified candidates willing to learn
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good IT literacy, including familiarity with dental practice management software
- Compassionate approach with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
