Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production, kitchen management, and hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Executive Head Chef will be responsible for supervising staff, developing menus, and maintaining a cohesive team environment to support our organisation’s culinary vision.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire kitchen team, including chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation meet organisational standards.
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while aligning with customer preferences and dietary requirements.
- Supervise food production activities, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste and optimise costs.
- Implement training programmes for staff on food safety, hygiene practices, and service standards.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation across all kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, labour costs, and operational expenses effectively to support organisational goals.
- Uphold organisational policies regarding cleanliness, safety, and food handling procedures.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment, ideally at a senior or head chef level.
- Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, and restaurant or hospitality settings.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
- Demonstrable expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable within the UK hospitality industry.
- Previous experience in managing large-scale kitchens or multiple outlets is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £30,480.89-£50,350.00 per year
