Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing excellent service, and assisting in the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude to ensure a positive shopping experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide detailed product information and answer customer queries confidently
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and securely
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure the store is inviting and well-organised
- Restock shelves and ensure stock levels are adequate throughout the shift
- Keep the store clean, tidy, and safe for both customers and staff
- Support team members with daily tasks and contribute to a positive working environment
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and store policies to provide current information to customers
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required
- Organised with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work during store hours, including weekends if needed
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions accurately
- A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service
Due to UK Licensing laws regarding the sale of age - restricted products, all applicants must be aged 18 or over.
