Our focus is primarily within the commercial Aviation and Defence sectors. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented electronics graduate to join our electrical and temperature calibration team in a permanent role.

As an Electronic Graduate Engineer, you will work alongside and be mentored by, experienced calibration engineers to perform calibrations on a wide range of electrical and electronic test and measuring equipment. You will develop your skills in a structured, accreditation-driven environment with clear opportunities for progression.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Performing semi and fully automated closed loop calibrations on electrical and electronic test and measuring equipment
- Generating accurate, traceable calibration records in accordance with ISO 17025 requirements, operating with confidentiality and impartiality throughout
- Assisting with the development and review of calibration procedures and work instructions using SCPI, BASIC, ProCal, Python and other manufacturer-based communication protocols
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes in line with ISO 9001 and 17025 principles
- Identifying and escalating non-conformances in accordance with internal quality procedures
- Equipment you would be responsible for calibrating includes (but is not limited to): Digital Multimeters, Clamp Meters, 16th/17th Edition Test Equipment, HiPot Testers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Milli/Micro-Ohmmeters, High Voltage Insulation Testers, and Temperature Simulators
- Management of existing calibration uncertainty budgets
Person Specification
· A degree in Electronics Engineering or a similar discipline (or equivalent experience)
· An interest in calibration and a willingness to learn
· Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work well within a small team
· Excellent written and spoken English language skills
· A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including confidence with formulas, data handling and spreadsheet management
· The successful candidate will have the right to work in the UK (please note, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role)
Desirable
· Familiarity with instrument communication languages and software such as; ProCal, SCPI, BASIC, or Python
