About the role
Balfour Beatty Asset & Technology Solutions is looking for a highly organised and customer-focused CCTV Coordinator to join our team in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of CCTV hire and installation services, acting as the central point of contact between customers, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
As a CCTV Coordinator, you will provide essential operational and administrative support to ensure projects run smoothly from initial enquiry through to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating activities, maintaining accurate records, supporting financial processes, and delivering a professional service that reflects our commitment to excellence.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Managing a shared inbox and responding promptly to customer requests.
- Coordinating CCTV hire, installation, delivery, collection, and off-hire activities.
- Liaising with customers to confirm requirements, schedules, and key project milestones.
- Preparing quotations and supporting the invoicing and billing process.
- Monitoring and resolving billing queries and invoice discrepancies.
- Administering job documentation and supporting engineering teams.
- Tracking equipment availability and ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Maintaining accurate job, hire, operational, and financial records.
- Organising and maintaining electronic filing systems and project documentation.
- Producing reports and project updates for management and team meetings.
- Working closely with technical teams to ensure records and project information remain aligned.
- Providing general administrative support to the wider business as required
Who we're looking for
We are seeking an organised and proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working collaboratively across teams, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in everything you do.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a coordinator, administrator, or business support role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems.
- A professional, customer-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to support colleagues across the business.
Experience within the CCTV, security, construction, utilities, or equipment hire sectors would be advantageous, as would knowledge of quoting, invoicing, CRM systems, or job management systems, although these are not essential.
