As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Accounting Administrator to join our team in Norwich.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with strong accounting knowledge and Xero experience to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Working closely with management, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring administrative processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Using Xero to manage daily accounting activities
- Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures
- Preparing financial reports and spreadsheets
- Credit control and customer account management
- Processing employee expenses
- Supporting payroll administration
- Maintaining filing systems and financial documentation
- General office administration and support duties
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an accounting, finance, or bookkeeping administration role
- Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of accounting principles and processes
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and confident communication skills
Desirable
- AAT qualification or working towards AAT
- Experience within engineering, construction, manufacturing, or technical sectors
- Payroll administration experience
