Experience in a dynamic workplace hosting major national and international sporting events and concerts, including EFL Championship Football matches with home team Derby County FC, as well as a range of exciting meetings and events in 2026

Lead the team in their daily duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment

Assist managers with highlighting areas of operational improvement, managing staffing levels in line with budget goals and business needs, as well as the training, development, and counselling of team members

Ensure appropriate stock of all required products and supplies

Greet guests positively and manage their feedback appropriately

Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence

No degree required

1+ years’ supervisory experience, preferably in a hotel or high-end environment

Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high-pressure environment

Skills in leadership, training, written and verbal communication, organisation, customer service, basic maths, and basic computer skills

Ability to stand for duration of shift

Comfortable handling various alcohol and certain meat products

Availability to work evenings and weekends
