We’re looking for a GoodsIn Operative to support our warehouse during our busiest intake period.
This is a practical, hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. Deliveries arrive throughout the day, and Goods In plays a critical part in keeping the entire warehouse moving. Accuracy, pace, and reliability matter.
Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 7:00pm
This later shift ensures deliveries are processed efficiently and stock is made available to the warehouse as quickly as possible.
Weekend work may be required at short notice to help manage heavier delivery volumes or operational pressure. Flexibility is essential. This is a key part to the role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Booking in deliveries accurately using handheld scanners
- Checking quantities and product condition
- Reporting and resolving discrepancies correctly
- Labelling and preparing stock for putaway
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe Goods In area
- Supporting peak delivery days with focus and consistency
This is a physically active role where you’ll be on your feet most of the day.
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working the 11am–7pm shift
- Calm under pressure
- Good attention to detail
- Physically capable of handling warehouse duties
- Forklift is a benefit
- A head for heights is essential to this role as high level order picker training will be given
- Ability to work independently when required and confidently as part of a team
Some parts of the role require you to get your head down and manage tasks alone. Other times you’ll need to coordinate closely with colleagues to clear larger deliveries. Being able to switch between both is essential.
Contract Details
- Seasonal contract: ASAP – 31st August
- 40 hours per week
- Weekend work required when business needs demand it, this will be overtime.
- Ongoing employment reviewed based on operational requirements and performance.
