Self-Employed Delivery Driver – 3.5T / LWB / Sprinter / Own Car
Self-employed | Paid monthly
Start Earning This Summer — On Your Terms
We're recruiting self-employed delivery drivers across the Yorkshire Area. Whether you're looking to top up your income over summer or want a flexible round that fits your life, we've got routes and vehicle options to match.
Why Drive With Us
- No per-parcel guesswork on van routes — van drivers earn a guaranteed day rate of £120–£200, so you know what you're working towards before you start.
- Guaranteed per-parcel rate on car routes — £1 per parcel delivered, so the harder and faster you go, the more you earn, with no ambiguity about the rate.
- Choose your vehicle — drive your own car, or rent a van from us (3.5T, LWB, or Sprinter) with the cost simply deducted from your invoice. No upfront hire fees.
- Fast start — get onboarded and out on the road in days, not weeks.
- Flexible scheduling — routes built around your availability, whether that's a few hours a day or full-time hours.
- Local and multi-drop routes available — work close to home or take on a bigger round, your choice.
- Overtime available, with no cap on how much you take on — the more you're willing to do, the more you earn, especially as volumes rise into autumn and winter peak.
- Not just a summer role — stay on for autumn and through winter peak if you want, when extra rounds and extra earnings are there for the taking.
What You'll Do
- Collect parcels from your local depot
- Deliver (and collect, where applicable) across your round using your own car or a rented company van
- Manage your own schedule within agreed collection/delivery windows
- Handle parcels professionally and keep accurate delivery records
Vehicle Options
- Bring your own car — ideal for smaller, local rounds, paid at 70p per parcel
- Rent a van from us — 3.5T, LWB, or Sprinter available daily, with rental costs deducted directly from your invoice, so there's nothing to pay upfront
Self-Employed, But Not On Your Own
Working for yourself shouldn't mean figuring it out alone. We handle your invoicing, walk you through what self-employment means for your tax and National Insurance, and get you road-ready within days of applying, not weeks. You're in control of your schedule and your earnings; we just make sure you're set up properly from day one.
What You Need
- A full, valid UK driving licence
- A smartphone, for managing your round and deliveries
- If using your own vehicle: appropriate insurance for business/courier use
- Reliability, professionalism, and good communication with the depot
Important — Self-Employment
This is a self-employed role. You'll operate as an independent contractor, invoice for your work, and are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, and vehicle insurance. Full guidance is provided during onboarding. Pay is monthly.
Why Now
Start over summer and you'll build round experience and delivery speed well ahead of the rush — putting you first in line for the busier, better-paying rounds and extra overtime when autumn and winter peak hit.
