ARRA Distribution are seeking to recruit an experienced Day Transport Shift Manager, working on a 4on/4off rota basis 05:45 - 18:00.
Role Overview:
Responsible for a broad range of activities that contribute to the accurate production of the daily transport plan for the depot. Responsibilities include Customer/Supplier liaison, updating and manipulating current standard plan to reflect fluctuations in daily volumes.
Role Requirements:
Ø Identify accurately requirements for Agency Drivers on a weekly/daily basis.
Ø Assisting with the planning and implementation of strategic depot change.
Ø Collating collection and delivery information using bespoke TMS.
Ø Creating collection plans to inform suppliers of loading requirements in a timely manner.
Ø Maintaining depot standard plan information.
Ø Formulating and communicating accurate depot transport plan for the next day’s operation.
Ø Customer/Supplier/Subcontractor management at a number of levels to ensure that key information is communicated, and the daily plans are achieved.
