We are currently looking for a Domestic Assistant to support our housekeeping teams within our care home in Kingston-upon-Thames.
The Role
As a Domestic Assistant. You will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, while contributing to the wellbeing and comfort of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out housekeeping duties in communal areas and residents’ rooms
- Provide laundry services, including washing, drying, and ironing clothes and bedding
- Follow all health, safety, and infection control guidelines
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain a warm and welcoming environment
- Help create a positive atmosphere where residents feel comfortable and respected
What We’re Looking For
- A reliable, caring, and positive attitude
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Passion for supporting others and working in a care environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Right to work in the UK
