Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, your duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting hygiene and nutritional needs, including meal preparation and assistance with feeding where required.
- Implementing and monitoring care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Keeping accurate records of progress and reporting any changes in condition.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
- Assisting with mobility and physical activities as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Helping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for both residents and staff.
Essential Criteria
- 6 months’ experience in a similar role within the UK.
- NISCC registered (or willingness to register).
- Completion of annual Access NI checks.
- Commitment to attending and completing training requirements.
