Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health, Safety & Quality Co-ordinator to champion our commitment to a safe, compliant, and high-quality working environment. Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and quality policies in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Lead incident investigations by performing root cause analysis to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence
- Coordinate first aid procedures, ensuring trained personnel are available and emergency response plans are current
- Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, audit findings, and compliance status for management review
- Facilitate safety training sessions and promote awareness campaigns to foster a safety-first culture
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data trends and recommending process enhancements
- You are responsible for ensuring compliance is met for the organisation in respect of all Training, Accreditation's, H&SQE & Environmental aspects internally & externally.
- Maintain, the company’s accreditation's, including but not limited to, ISO:9001, ISO:14001, OHSAS:45001, ISO:27001, CHAS Elite, Alcumus Safecontractor, NSI, WEEE etc, ensuring that full compliance is met by all employees.
- Be responsible for the ongoing internal and external audits of the Company accreditation's, ensuring senior management are updated on any changes.
- Ensure key customers have up-to-date documentation e.g., Insurance policies, QMS certificates, accreditations, etc
Qualifications
- Proven experience in health, safety, or quality management within a similar industry/engineering setting
- Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, standards, and best practices
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to clearly document investigations and compliance activities
- Certified in first aid; additional certifications in occupational health or quality management are advantageous
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
