Responsibilities
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials, equipment, or products as required
- Supporting the organisation and tidiness of the work area to ensure health and safety standards are met
- Moving supplies, tools, or goods around the site efficiently and safely
- Assisting skilled trades or supervisors with specific tasks as directed
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Participating in routine inspections and reporting any hazards or issues promptly
- Supporting other team members with ad hoc duties to ensure project deadlines are met
Requirements
- Must drive
- Previous experience in a labouring or manual handling role is advantageous but not essential
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects safely
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a manual labour environment
